ALAS! It is DONE!
This took me a bit to finish. WHile finishing up the design I've had to move to a new place and there were times I simply needed a break.
The design was drawn on Borden and Riley #37 Semi-Transparent paper, and colored in Photoshop. Drawing it on paper was the easiest and fastest during creation, coloring and clean up took by FARRRRRRRRRR the LOOOOOOONGEST. I forget how many hours I have in this... 75?... I dunno. But I know that much of my time was spent trying to get fragments of skull to have the right kind of color, or trying to clean up the design in the digital realm. Frankly, I think before too awful long I'm going to ditch coloring digitally entirely, and pick up some of those new markers that can be erased and blended. I'm a perfectionist at heart, and while I like the flexibility of digital work, it can get even more tedious and your realize "I could have done this faster in real life..."
Currently, this design will exist as a poster, but a T-shirt WILL be done (and therefore there will be a back design.) CHeck out Overthrust on facebook and their other social media to nab this awesome poster. AND! Keep your eyes peeled for uber LIMITED EDITION POSTERS, signed by the band AND ME!

cool
